Use your STUFF!!!

For quite a while, I've been talking to my IWIA Stamping friends (IWIA stands for I Want It All.... and don't we all ?!?!?!!).  And it has come to our realization that we HOARDE!!!!!!!  We hoard everything...  paper, background paper, ribbon, everything.

So in light of that, I have been inspired.  I have not used my Cricut in quite a while.  I am just not that talented in the Cricut arena.  And I really like the cutesy stuff.

So being inspired, I made this snail card for a young friend of mine, Emily.  It will be going out in the mail on Tuesday for her.  I hope she likes it.  And the hippo card, I made the hippo ohhh... about a year ago, believe it or not.  I just did not know what to do with it.  So this is what I did with her.  Not sure who she is going to yet...  HHHhmmmmm.. hee.. hee!!!

Artistic Etchings

My best friend, Karen, her birthday is coming up on the 29th. I started this card yesterday and realized, gosh, I have to finish this baby and get it in the mail for her to get it on her birthday!!!   So I made this little baby. She loves France and the Stampin' Up! Artistic Etchings stamp set was perfect.

Karen, I LOVE YOU!!!!!  Happy Early Birthday!!!!

I had some stamping time! YEAH!!

I've been able to squeeze in some stamping time between chores and doing projects around the house.  We've been working on our detached garage.  After 18 years of living in this house, the wood trim needed a LOT of attention.  So for the past three weekends that is what we've been doing. Not to mention putting in our veggie garden 4 weeks ago.

Anywhoo... this is the Mother's Day card I made this for my mother in law.  She loves a card I made her previously, using the Cricut Preserves cartridge.  I made her previous one with an orange slice, and she adores it.  So when it game time for her Mother's Day card, she wanted another "slice".

Speaking of mother-in-law's...  she gave me several cd's and dvd's for stamping, scrapbooking, tips, tricks, techniques and folds.  I was looking at one today and I found this awesome fold using a single 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper.  This is for my friend's daughters birthday.

How neat is this fold?!?!?! I love it!!  Anyway, here is a video showing the card, as above.
